NSC5817 (1958. 8.11). NSC5907 (1959. 7.1). 直到李承晚政权垮台和日本国民掀起反对修改《日美安全保障条约》的斗争高潮，艾森豪威尔政府才在对朝鲜、对日本政策文件中删除了有关西太平洋集体防卫条约的规定。在艾森豪威尔政府有关对日本和朝鲜政策的两个最后的美国国家安全委员会文件NSC6008 / 1 .
